Elaborate arrangements made for CGL Exam: Board

ITANAGAR, Jul 30: The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) has made elaborate arrangements for conducting the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination on August 1 (Sunday) next.

“The APSSB has endeavoured to bring in effective and systemic improvements through updations in the SOPs to ensure that the exam process is carried out smoothly in a default-free manner,” stated a press release from the Board here today.

There are a total of 62 posts of UDC, including 52 for APSTs and 10 unreserved, for which 19,193 candidates had applied and 17,550 of them have so far downloaded their admit cards from the APSSB web portal which can be done till 11.59 pm on July 31.

The CGL Exam 2021 will be conducted in 72 centers in 11 districts, including Itanagar Capital Region. More than 3400 exam functionaries are being engaged for the same. Apart from that, the DCs and SPs of concerned districts will oversee the entire process of the recruitment exam.

Apart from security frisking of candidates and capturing of biometrics at the exam centers, the Board said, “As a preventive measure to stop use of unfair means/ malpractices, all mobile internet service providers have been directed to suspend their services ‘only’ from 9.30 am to 1 pm on that day at respective townships.”

Moreover, all concerned district authorities have been asked to ensure that Covid appropriate behaviour is followed by everyone involved in the conduct of examination including the candidates.
