CM, BJP chief pay tributes to party ideologue Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya

ITANAGAR, Sep 25: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Sunday paid tributes to the BJP ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his 106th birth anniversary and said that the latter’s vision of integral humanism and Antyodaya will inspire them forever to build “a stronger, vibrant and inclusive India”.

“My humble tribute to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji, a visionary ideologue, philosopher and writer, on his birth anniversary. His vision of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya will forever inspire us to build a stronger, vibrant and inclusive India where no one is left behind,” Khandu tweeted.

The Chief Minister, along with Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao, MLAs Techi Kaso and Chau Zingnu Namchoom, and other leaders, also took part in a tree plantation drive at Borum village.

“Joined the country in celebrating Seva Pakhwada - a service fortnight to commemorate 106th birth anniversary of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya - by planting saplings & listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s (monthly radio program) ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in august company of MP, MLAs, party members & others today,” Khandu said in another tweet.

Meanwhile, the State BJP president Biyuram Wahge joined the country in celebrating the Seva Pakhwada (service fortnight) to commemorate 106th birth anniversary of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya by planting trees at the Chimpu Govt Secondary School campus.

At the programme, he was accompanied by MLAs Dasanglu Pul & Jummum Ete Deori, IMC Mayor Tame Phassang, Arunachal Pradesh Biodiversity Board Chairman Tayek Goi, party’s state general secretary Nalong Mize, secretary Tadar Niglar and other karyakartas.   

Wahge, while appreciating the BJP Itanagar Mandal for organizing the tree plantation program to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya at Chimpu booth as part of Seva Pakhwada, highlighted the mission and vision of the party ideologue, which inspire everyone to contribute to the nation-building process. He urged the karyakartas to follow in the footsteps of Pt Upadhyaya. After that, Wahge and others listened to the PM’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at the Chimpu BLC president’s residence.
