ITANAGAR, Dec 1: The NSS Cell of Dera Natung Govt College, Itanagar organized an extempore speech competition to mark the World AIDS Day celebration here today.
The extempore speech competition focused on awareness about the spread of HIV-AIDS and reducing its stigma from society.
At the start, Programme Officer Dr Chello Lima, Assistant Professor in Commerce Department briefed the participants the reason for celebration of World AIDS Day and its theme for the year 2022.
DNGC Principal Dr M Q Khan, who graced the occasion as chief guest, spoke on the causes, mode of transmission, and management and prevention of the deadly disease.
