CHAMBANG, Sep 4: A group of 11 friends named “Knights of NERIST 17 (KON-17)” organized a career counselling programme for the students of the Govt Sec School, Chambang.
In this regard, the group donated one big round table, two each of book shelves, ceiling fans and water filters to the school.
“I would like to thank the KON-17 members for their contribution to the school which will immensely benefit the teachers and students alike. Such like-minded friends should come forward to serve the society,” said Miching Punglu, headmaster GSS Chambang during the counselling programme.
Later, career counseling was given to the students by the president of the group, Tasso Duri, circle officer Taksing, wherein he gave tips/pointers for the CBSE preparations and opportunities in the future.
The function was attended by staff, students and members of KON-17. The initiative was spearheaded by Riba Gyadi, circle officer Chambang, who himself is a member of KON-17. (DIPRO)
