SEPPA, Sep 4: East Kameng district successfully conducted its first ever district-level Samagra Shiksha review and coordination meeting at the Abotani hall, Seppa Secretariat today, which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Sachin Rana.
Also in attendance were Himangshu Nigam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Seppa, and various senior officials from the Education department.
In his keynote address, the DC emphasized the critical importance of effective lesson planning and its role in enhancing educational outcomes. He stressed that educators must utilize lesson plans with precision to facilitate better learning experiences.
Additionally, Rana underscored the necessity for coordinators to conduct frequent school visits to ensure that the program’s guidelines and objectives are being diligently followed.
The DC also called upon the Block Resource Coordinators (BRCs) and Cluster Resource Coordinators (CRCs) to intensify their monitoring efforts, ensuring that all schools adhere to the prescribed educational standards and that any issues are promptly addressed. He reiterated the need for a collaborative approach to drive continuous improvement in the quality of education provided under the Samagra Shiksha program.
Earlier, District Project Coordinator Zaro Lingfa provided a comprehensive overview of the Samagra Shiksha program’s progress and achievements. The review detailed the implementation activities across all six blocks within the district, with specific reports presented by the BRCs. This thorough evaluation highlighted both the successes and areas needing improvement, offering a clear picture of the program’s impact at the grassroots level.
The inaugural review meeting signified a ‘critical step’ forward in the district’s effort to enhance educational outcomes and will be a model for future evaluations. (DIPRO)
