ITANAGAR, Oct 6: The grand Silver Jubilee (25th edition) of Miss Arunachal 2025 concluded with splendour at IG Park here last night, celebrating beauty, talent, and empowerment. Taba Jumshi from Papum Pare was crowned Miss Arunachal 2025, while Throme Pulu and Aisu Panyang were adjudged first and second runners-up, respectively.
Attending the glittering event filled with glamour and excitement, Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated the winners for their remarkable achievement and applauded all participants for showcasing the confidence, creativity, and cultural grace of Arunachal’s youth.
Announcing a new initiative, the Chief Minister said that the State Government will soon sign an MoU with the winners of Miss Arunachal 2025 to collaborate in promoting and showcasing the rich tourism, culture, and heritage of Arunachal Pradesh.
He added that this initiative aims to channel the talent, creativity, and intellect of the youth toward meaningful endeavours, offering them a vibrant platform to shine while contributing to the state’s growth and global identity.
Joining the celebration, Health Minister Biyuram Wahge expressed delight at witnessing “so many incredible talents on one stage” during the grand event. He shared that it was an honour to join Chief Minister Pema Khandu at the celebration, lauding Miss Arunachal as a platform that has “not only showcased beauty but also empowered women to dream big and inspire others.”
Both leaders extended heartiest congratulations to the winners and the organisers for successfully hosting the landmark Silver Jubilee edition of the pageant, reaffirming that such platforms play a pivotal role in empowering women, promoting cultural identity, and inspiring the next generation of Arunachal’s youth.
