ITANAGAR, Oct 6: A four-month combined induction training programme for 140 officers of the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service (Entry Grade) and Allied Services, recruited through the APPSCCE 2024, commenced today at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Naharlagun.
Gracing the inaugural ceremony, Arunachal Pradesh Administrative Reforms Commission Chairperson Pramod Kumar Jain, in his speech, urged the new officers to dedicate themselves to honest, people-centric, and efficient public service.
“As administrators, your foremost duty is to bridge the gap between the government and the people. Let humility, empathy, and fairness guide your every action,” he said. He also emphasized the importance of blending modern governance practices with Arunachal Pradesh’s rich cultural values.
Earlier, Deputy Director-cum-Course Coordinator Bittu Kri welcomed the participants and outlined the objectives of the training. He noted that the programme is designed to prepare officers for effective governance, policy implementation, and field-level challenges, forming a strong foundation for their administrative careers.
Delivering the concluding remarks, ATI Director Pate Marik highlighted the importance of lifelong learning in public service. “The responsibility you carry is immense. While this course lasts four months, the process of learning as an administrator never ends,” he remarked.
Also present on the occasion were Deputy Directors Mizum Nyodu, Sange Tsering, Anima Mize, and Corrina Mum Norbu, along with faculty members and other dignitaries.
