Awareness program held at Midpu

Itanagar, Nov 28: An awareness programme, focusing on issues such as good touch and bad touch, bullying awareness, substance abuse prevention, environmental protection, cleanliness, hygiene and career guidance, was conducted by Arunachal State Nursing College, TRIHMS, in collaboration with Aanwg Anya Foundation and Magic Club at the Government Girls’ Residential School, Midpu on Wednesday last.

Welcoming the team, headmistress Gerik Basar Techi appreciated the initiative and commended the students and faculty for their meaningful engagement with the school.

As part of the outreach activity, the organisers donated two 40-litre electric water boilers, sports and games equipment including carrom boards and badminton rackets, and sanitary pads. The students also received writing boards, notebooks, pencils, pens and colouring books.

Interactive sessions and demonstrations were conducted to strengthen awareness on personal safety, healthy habits and social responsibility. The programme was led by first-semester BSc Nursing students and coordinated by the Faculty of Sociology, Arunachal State Nursing College, TRIHMS.
