Itanagar, May 23: The Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) — IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL — on Saturday assured the public that the supply and availability of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remain adequate and uninterrupted across Arunachal Pradesh.
In a joint statement, the OMCs said the overall fuel supply position in Arunachal Pradesh is stable and that the entire fuel supply chain — comprising terminals, bulk storage depots, LPG bottling plants, retail outlets and LPG distributorships — is operating normally without any disruption.
Daily dispatches are continuing as scheduled to ensure adequate stock availability in every district of the state, they claimed.
The companies further stated that they are maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and replenishment of petroleum products to ensure seamless fuel availability across the state notwithstanding prevailing global uncertainties affecting the oil and gas sector.
Appealing to the public to avoid unnecessary rush at fuel stations, the companies urged consumers to continue with their normal purchasing patterns and refrain from panic buying or stockpiling of fuel and LPG cylinders.
Citizens were also advised to rely only on official communications issued by the OMCs for authentic and verified information on fuel availability and supply status in the state.
