ITANAGAR, May 23: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, while appreciating the amazing journey of the Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS), has described it as a lifeline of the State.
In his social media post, Mein said: “For five decades, the Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS) has been more than just a mode of transportation, it has been a lifeline connecting our people, bridging remote regions and strengthening the spirit of unity across our beautiful State.
As APSTS commemorates its Golden Jubilee from 29th to 31st May 2026, we celebrate 50 years of dedicated public service, resilience and commitment towards serving the people of Arunachal Pradesh.”
The Dy CM further said: “APSTS has played a vital role in driving accessibility, mobility, and socio-economic progress in the State. This milestone is a tribute to every driver, conductor, mechanic, officer and staff member whose hard work and dedication kept Arunachal moving forward through the decades.
My heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire APSTS family on this remarkable achievement.
May this Golden Jubilee inspire a renewed commitment towards modern, efficient, and people-centric transport services for the future generations of our state.”
