Efforts on to deliver Govt services at the doorstep of people through SAD 2.0

YINGKIONG, Feb 3: Continuing its efforts to deliver government services at the doorstep of citizens, the Upper Siang District Administration has been consistently organizing the Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 outreach programme across the district.

The DA conducted the 6th and 7th Seva Aapke Dwar 2.0 at Damroh and New Millang on 2nd and 3rd February.

During the camps, beneficiaries availed services including birth registration forms, ST certificates, Permanent Residential Certificates (PRC), income certificates, old-age pension services, health check-ups, job cards, Form-8 correction services, and electricity bill payments. The Veterinary Department distributed multivitamins for pets, while the Agriculture Department facilitated the distribution of power sprayers, pesticides, and insecticides. Additional services included the distribution of Self Help Group (SHG) books, individual books, benefits under the Mother Kitchen Scheme, and other departmental services.

The camps witnessed active participation from the General Administration, Mariyang, along with departments such as PHED, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Apex Bank, Textile and Handicrafts, Women & Child Development (WCD), Health, Food and Civil Supplies, BDO, Horticulture, Agriculture (Mariyang), ArSRLM, Election, Electrical, Police, DSO and DFDO.

The District Administration reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening last-mile service delivery and ensuring that essential government schemes and benefits reach every eligible citizen in a timely and transparent manner.

KHONSA: Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 camp was inaugurated today at Laho village under Dadam administrative circle, marking another significant step towards strengthening inclusive governance and doorstep service delivery in remote areas of Tirap district.

The inaugural programme began with a welcome address by circle officer Dadam Dr Metung Taku, wherein she requested all Head of Departments (HoDs) participating in the SAD 2.0 camp to highlight their respective departmental schemes and the benefits available to the public.

Accordingly, HoDs and representatives from ARSRLM, DD (WCD), DMO I/c, DAO I/c, DHO, DF&CSO, AD & TH, AH & Veterinary, Fisheries, Jan Suvidha, and Bank officials highlighted their departmental schemes and benefits.

The SAD 2.0 camp at Laho village was graced by Deputy Commissioner Tirap Liyi Bagra. A total of 1,498 beneficiaries from Laho, Upper Chinkoi, Lower Chinkoi, Dadam, and Huakan villages availed various government services during the camp.

The programme was also attended by ADC Khonsa Namneet Singh; SDO Tana Bapu; Nodal Officer (SAD 2.0)-cum-Assistant Commissioner Yowa Anya; Chief of Dadam Wanggo Lowang; Laho Kamhua Chief Lewang Lowang; GPCs, Gaon Burahs (GBs), PRI members, and beneficiaries from the Dadam circle.

Addressing the gathering, DC stated that the State Government’s flagship initiative, Seva Aapke Dwar, is a true example of “governance in action,” as it brings essential services directly to the doorstep of people. Describing the programme as a major step towards inclusive governance, he remarked that its impact is clearly visible on the ground, with increased public participation, greater awareness of government schemes, and enhanced inter-departmental coordination.

During the camp, the DC distributed ST/PRC certificates, as well as agricultural, fisheries, and horticultural tools to farmers from the five participating villages. While inspecting departmental stalls, he advised officials to clearly explain scheme guidelines and eligibility criteria to villagers to enable them to effectively avail government benefits.

BOLENG: The Seva Aapke Dwar outreach programme was flagged off today at Kaying by Tayi Taggu, Deputy Commissioner Siang, with the objective of delivering government services at the doorstep of people, particularly in remote and interior areas.

In his address, the DC emphasized coordinated efforts among departments to ensure efficient service delivery and effective grievance redressal.

The programme is being implemented with the participation of departments including PHED, Power, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fishery, ArSRLM, Medical, Land, Transport, CDPO, BDO, Police, District Administration, Industry, Textile and Handicrafts, Aadhaar (ADES), Education, Urban Development and Housing, Rural Development, Banking institutions, Hydropower, and DFSCO.

The initiative aims to provide a single platform for citizens to access multiple government services in a time-bound and citizen-friendly manner. (DIPROs)
