AALO, Feb 4: Aimed at promoting cultural exchange, mutual understanding and unity among the youth, the five-day Inter-District Youth Exchange Programme concluded on a positive note at Aalo, the headquarters of West Siang district, on Tuesday.
During the five-day event, youth participants from Papum Pare (guest district) actively engaged with their peers of West Siang (host district) through various cultural, interactive, and exchange activities, fostering inter-district harmony and cooperation.
The valedictory programme was graced by Tatu Tasing, District Yuva Morcha president. The chief guest appreciated the enthusiasm and active participation of the youth, and emphasized the importance of such exchange programmes in strengthening social cohesion and leadership among young people.
On the occasion, Pawan Kumar Rav, District Youth Officer (DYO) West Siang, felicitated all participants with certificates of participation. He expressed sincere gratitude to all delegates for their kind cooperation throughout the programme and encouraged the youth to actively participate in future youth exchange programmes and other initiatives under MY Bharat.
It was also informed that, as part of the reciprocal exchange, 37 youth from West Siang district will participate in the same Inter-District Youth Exchange Programme to be held in Papum Pare district from February 15 to 19th February.
The programme concluded on a positive note with renewed commitment from the youth to promote cultural harmony, mutual understanding, and nation-building through active engagement in MY Bharat initiatives.
