Tirap holds coord meeting to ensure smooth conduct of ensuing CBSE exams

KHONSA, Feb 9: The Department of Education, Tirap, in collaboration with the District Administration, convened a district-level coordination meeting to ensure smooth, fair, and peaceful conduct of the ensuing CBSE examinations for the academic session 2025–26, scheduled to commence from February 17 next.

The primary objective of the meeting was to review the level of preparedness and to strengthen inter-departmental coordination for smooth and orderly conduct of the CBSE examinations 2026 across the district.

Presiding over the meeting, Tirap Deputy Commissioner Techu Aran emphasized the importance of advance preparedness, and directed officers/officials of all concerned line departments to visit the examination centres at least one week in advance to assess the availability of required facilities and take necessary follow-up action as per departmental responsibilities.

The DC further urged all officials deployed on examination duty to discharge their responsibilities with utmost sincerity, dedication, and professionalism to ensure a hassle-free examination process.

The meeting was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Khonsa Namneet Singh, Superintendent of Police Aditya, DDSE K C Lowangcha, heads of line departments including Medical, PHE, Power, and Urban Development, along with heads of all CBSE examination centre schools.

The meeting concluded with a collective assurance from all stakeholders to work in close coordination for successful conduct of CBSE examinations in Tirap district. (DIPRO)
