CM, Dy CM condole demise of cameraman Om Bahadur

ITANAGAR, Feb 10: Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein have expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Om Bahadur (29), a dedicated cameraman and a respected member of Arunachal Pradesh’s media fraternity.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Om Bahadur’s sudden passing at such a young age was truly heartbreaking and has left a void in the media community of the state.

Recalling his professional contribution, Khandu said that through his lens, Om Bahadur quietly documented the stories, struggles and spirit of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. Describing him as soft-spoken, sincere and committed to his profession, the Chief Minister said that he earned the respect and affection of colleagues across the state.

Extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, especially to Om Bahadur’s wife and young child, Khandu prayed for strength and courage for them to endure the irreparable loss. He also offered prayers for the departed soul to attain Sadgati.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein also expressed deep grief over the loss, describing Om Bahadur as a committed professional and a valued pillar of the state’s media community. He said that with quiet dedication, Om Bahadur captured the voices, realities and resilience of the people. Mein extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Om Bahadur will be remembered for his humility, integrity and dedicated service to journalism, they said.
