PASIGHAT, Feb 11: As per the instructions of the DGP during his recent visit to Pasighat, and in continuation of the initiative undertaken last year, an Annual Integrated Medical Health Camp was successfully conducted at the 5th IRBn BHQ here today, with In-Charge Jt Director BPGH Dr Y Ringu and East Siang DMO Dr Y Perme inaugurating the programme.
The collaborative event was organized by the 5th IRBn and East Siang District Police, with support from the District Medical Officer (DMO), East Siang.
The camp covered a total of 393 beneficiaries, including Battalion & district police personnel and their families.
A team of 13 doctors and other paramedic staff from the Bakin Pertin General Hospital (BPGH), Pasighat rendered their valuable medical services.
Comprehensive health check-ups including laboratory analysis, specialist consultations, screening for lifestyle and seasonal diseases, and basic diagnostic services were provided. The initiative aimed at strengthening preventive healthcare, ensuring early detection of ailments, and promoting the overall well-being of police personnel and their families. (DIPRO)
