The visit was aimed at reviewing the progress of ongoing construction works and assessing the quality and pace of implementation.
The inspection primarily focused on newly constructed and under-construction school buildings, teacher quarters, and hostel facilities. Sona emphasized the importance of maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety measures, and completing projects within stipulated timelines so that students and teachers can benefit from improved infrastructure at the earliest.
He stated that adequate infrastructure plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall teaching-learning process and boosting student performance. “Our goal is not just to build structures, but to create safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environments that nurture the potential of every child,” he said.
The Minister also interacted with school authorities and officials concerned, urging them to maintain strict supervision over construction works and ensure transparency and accountability in project execution.
