Itanagar, Feb 16: In a significant step towards empowering young leaders and strengthening democratic communication, the media department of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Monday launched the National Talent Hunt Programme for Arunachal Pradesh at the party’s state headquarters, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Itanagar.
The programme was formally inaugurated by national spokesperson of the Indian National Congress and in-charge of the National Talent Hunt for Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, Dolly Sharma, in the presence of senior leaders and office bearers of the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), along with representatives of frontal wings and youth leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma underscored the crucial role of spokespersons, policy researchers, and publicity coordinators in shaping public discourse and presenting factual, research-based narratives before the nation.
“The Congress Party is committed to nurturing young talent who can articulate the concerns of the people with clarity, courage, and constitutional values. This Talent Hunt is a platform for the youth of Arunachal Pradesh to rise, lead, and represent,” she said.
She added that the initiative aims to identify and groom capable individuals who can serve at both the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and AICC levels, offering them exposure at state and national platforms.
Making a strong appeal to the youth of the state, Sharma urged them to actively participate in constructive political engagement and nation-building. She encouraged aspirants to become the voice of the marginalized, defend democracy and uphold the Constitution, contribute research-based insights, and represent Arunachal Pradesh at national forums.
The APCC said interested applicants can register by scanning the official QR code, following the instructions, and selecting their preferred field—Spokesperson, Researcher, or Publicity Coordinator.
The initiative reflects the Congress Party’s commitment to inclusive leadership and structured capacity building for young political communicators.
