Itanagar, Feb 17: Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Health Minister Biyuram Wahge have extended their heartiest congratulations to Dr Yasum Litin of Yingkiong for creating history as the first Cardiac Anaesthesia superspecialist from Arunachal Pradesh and the first woman from Northeast India to achieve the distinction.
Dr Litin recently completed her DM in Cardiac Anaesthesia from Goa Medical College. She earlier pursued her medical education at North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that becoming the first superspecialist in Cardiac Anaesthesia from the state and the first woman from the Northeast to attain this distinction is not only a remarkable personal milestone but also a proud moment for the entire region.
He noted that at a time when specialised cardiac anaesthesia is crucial for advanced heart surgeries, her expertise would significantly strengthen access to quality healthcare services for the people. The Chief Minister wished her a bright and impactful career ahead and expressed hope that her achievement would inspire many young medical aspirants across Arunachal Pradesh and the Northeast.
Describing her accomplishment as a matter of immense pride, Health Minister Wahge said her success reflects dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. He expressed confidence that her expertise would boost advanced cardiac care services in the region and motivate aspiring doctors to pursue specialised medical careers.
Wahge wished Dr Litin continued success and lauded her for bringing laurels to the state.
