ZIRO, Feb 18: The Keilya Sub-Centre was formally inaugurated on Tuesday by Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme along with District Medical Officer Dr Millo Kunya, in presence of ZPMs Nada Chada (Diire) and Pura Pugang (Hija), members of the Keilya Welfare Society and medical staff.
Addressing the gathering, the DC highlighted the importance of strengthening grassroots healthcare infrastructure to ensure accessible and quality medical services for rural communities. She expressed confidence that the new Sub-Centre would significantly benefit the residents of Keilya and adjoining areas by providing essential healthcare services closer to their homes.
The DMO emphasized that the Sub-Centre will enhance primary healthcare delivery, maternal and child health services, immunization coverage, and preventive healthcare initiatives in the area. He urged the community to actively cooperate with health officials and make full use of the services provided.
The programme concluded with appreciation extended to all stakeholders, including the KWS and the Medical department, for their collective efforts in making the Sub-Centre operational.
The inauguration marks another step forward in the district administration’s commitment to improving public health infrastructure and ensuring the well-being of the people. (DIPRO)
