PASIGHAT, Feb 18: The East Siang District Administration organized Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 at remote Namsing today, providing services of various Govt departments to the rural populace of Namsing circle at their doorstep.
More than 500 beneficiaries of Namsing, Mer, Gadum and Borguli, and other adjoining villages benefitted from SAD 2.0.
A total of 27 government departments participated, extending on-the-spot services ranging from administrative documents, welfare schemes and healthcare services etc. Hundreds of villagers availed of these facilities, marking the event as a significant step toward inclusive governance.
The SAD at Namsing village was inaugurated by Neena Megu, ZPM Monggu Banngo II, who attended as chief guest, alongside ADC Mebo Nancy Yirang and CO Toimi Tagi.
Other key initiatives were Financial Literacy Camp conducted by State Bank of India, Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, and AP State Cooperative Bank to educate villagers on banking services and various social security schemes.
Legal Awareness Workshop for the rural populace was also organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), East Siang, on various legal assistance and support provided by the DLSA. (DIPRO)
