NIRJULI, Feb 25: The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), through its Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized an Innovation Showcase: Poster Presentation Competition on Tuesday at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NERIST here. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines.
A total of 20 groups, comprising 181 students, participated in the competition, which served as an excellent platform for students to present innovative ideas, demonstrate research aptitude, and engage in meaningful academic discussions.
The posters were evaluated by a panel of judges based on clearly defined criteria, including quality of presentation, novelty of the topic, practicality, and feasibility of the proposed ideas. Each team was assessed on conceptual clarity, relevance, and potential real-world application. Team R3 secured the first position, Ojshwi Raj secured the second position, Team SH and Team Tassey jointly secured the third position.
The competition witnessed active interaction between presenters and the audience, fostering intellectual exchange and constructive feedback. The successful organization of the event reflects NERIST’s continued commitment to promoting innovation, creativity, and experiential learning among students.
