Inter State Youth Exchange Program, involving West Bengal, concludes on a high note

ITANAGAR, Feb 26: Inter State Youth Exchange Programme concluded at Don Bosco Youth Centre here today with great enthusiasm, cultural vibrancy, and heartfelt emotions. A total of 37 youth participants from West Bengal, accompanied by officials including Sujan Thakur, marked the successful culmination of the multi-day national integration initiative.

The ceremony featured vibrant cultural performances by the participants, reflecting the rich traditions of their home state along with the cultural essence of Arunachal Pradesh. The performances symbolized unity in diversity and were warmly applauded by all present.

Adding joy to the occasion, participants also celebrated an advance Holi together, spreading colours of friendship and unity. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and emotional moments as the youth captured memories through photographs and shared reflections of their experiences. Many participants expressed happiness and gratitude, while also feeling emotional as they bid farewell to new friends and hosts.

The closing ceremony was graced by Fr Sunny Minj as chief guest. The event was chaired by Deputy Director MY Bharat Gopesh Pandey.

Addressing the gathering, Fr Minj appreciated the spirit of unity, discipline, and cultural curiosity displayed by the participants. He encouraged the youth to act as ambassadors of harmony and national integration in their respective states.

In his address, Pandey highlighted that the Inter State Youth Exchange Programme is not merely a tour but a transformative experience that strengthens the bond of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. He stated that such initiatives under MY Bharat provide a platform for young minds to understand the diversity, culture, traditions, and democratic institutions of different states, fostering mutual respect and lifelong friendships.

Pawan Kumar Rao, from MY Bharat, appreciated the cooperation and enthusiasm shown throughout the exchange visit.

The programme concluded on a high note, reinforcing the message of national integration, cultural exchange, and youth empowerment.
