ITANAGAR, Feb 28: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday attended the sacred Shree Ram Darbar & Nav Durga Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Girijapati Shiv Mandir, describing the occasion as a spiritually uplifting and blessed moment.
The ceremony witnessed the unveiling of Shree Ram Darbar, Nav Durga, and Bajrangbali idols, filling the temple premises with divine fervour and devotional spirit. The Pran Pratishtha rituals were performed with Vedic chants and elaborate religious rites by respected pandits and pujaris, creating an atmosphere of deep spiritual resonance.
The Chief Minister said it was a matter of great honour to participate in the ceremony alongside Alok Kumar, International President of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, BJP State President Kaling Moyong, fellow legislators, and other dignitaries.
Khandu also offered prayers at the sacred Girijapati Shiva Linga and Swyambhu Shiva Linga, seeking blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ram, Maa Durga, and Mahadev for righteousness, harmony, and collective progress of the state.
“May the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ram, Maa Durga, and Mahadev guide us towards righteousness, harmony, and collective progress,” he said, concluding with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Har Har Mahadev.”
