Khandu calls on Sitharaman, seeks support for State’s dev

Itanagar, Mar 6: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday called on Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and congratulated her on presenting yet another people-centric Union Budget under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the meeting, Khandu lauded the Budget for aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat and focusing on inclusive growth, infrastructure development and economic empowerment.

The Chief Minister also requested the Union Finance Minister for her continued support in fulfilling the development aspirations of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasized the need for sustained central assistance to accelerate infrastructure development and strengthen key sectors in the frontier state.

Khandu expressed confidence that with the Centre’s continued support, Arunachal Pradesh would achieve faster progress and contribute meaningfully to the national vision of a developed India.
