BJP-AP terms State Budget 2026–27 visionary and people-centric

ITANAGAR, Mar 10: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Arunachal Pradesh Unit, while warmly welcoming the State Budget 2026–27 presented by Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Finance Minister Chowna Mein, has termed it visionary and people-centric and added, saying the budget reflects the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Viksit Bharat and Viksit Arunachal 2047.

The BJP-AP made this observation during a press conference held at its State headquarters here, addressed by MLA and Party’s Chief Spokesperson Mutchu Mithi.

The 12th budget, presented by Mein under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, also reflects the government’s strong commitment to inclusive development, youth empowerment, infrastructure growth, and sustainable economic progress for the people of the State, said Mithi.

Moreover, the budget places significant emphasis on sports and youth development, recognizing the immense potential of the young generation of the State, he added.
