Namsai conducts SAD 2.0 camp at GPS, Rangalibeel

ITANAGAR, Mar 13: Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 camp was successfully conducted at the Govt Primary School, Rangalibeel, Lekang in Namsai district today.  

The camp witnessed the participation of several departments including Transport, ICDS, DDMO (Disaster Management), Fisheries, Veterinary, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Textiles & Handicrafts, Bank, ArSRLM, Food & Civil Supplies, PHED and Police.

The programme was graced by Hiranya Bikomiya Deori, ZPM 1-Lower Lekang, as chief guest, in presence of HoOs and Gaon Burahs.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest highlighted the importance of the SAD initiative, which aims to deliver government services directly to rural areas so that villagers can easily avail the benefits of various State and Central government schemes.

Earlier, Assistant Commissioner, Lekang welcomed the villagers and encouraged them to avail various services and benefits being provided by the participating departments under the SAD initiative.

During the camp, several services and welfare schemes were facilitated for the villagers including ANBY, ANPY, MIDH, CMAAY, PM-JAY, ANMPY and PMMSY.

On the occasion, first aid kits were distributed to the GBs and the GPS headmaster by the Disaster Management Department.

The ZPM also visited different departmental stalls set up at the camp and interacted with officials and beneficiaries. (DIPR)
