YUPIA, Mar 17: The District Level Science Exhibition for Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools of Papum Pare district was successfully conducted today at NSCBAV (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya), Yupia under the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) intervention.
A total of 13 out of 18 secondary and higher secondary schools participated enthusiastically in the exhibition. Students showcased innovative and creative models based on the assigned themes, reflecting strong scientific temper and practical understanding.
The exhibition highlighted the importance of inquiry-based learning, a key objective of RAA, which aims to connect classroom knowledge with real-life applications and foster technological innovation through Maths and Science clubs in schools.
In the competition: GSS, Mani claimed the 1st position, followed by GSS, Leporiang at 2nd position and GHSS, Kimin at 3rd position.
During the event, the DDSE-cum-DPO emphasized the significance of active participation in such academic platforms that nurture creativity, critical thinking, and scientific aptitude among students.
Certificates and trophies were awarded to the winners in recognition of their outstanding performance. (DIPRO)
