MIAO, Mar 17: An Apprenticeship awareness programme was successfully conducted at ITI Balinong, Miao. The programme was organized by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship in association with the Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Guwahati, and managed by NE Brothers Ent Pvt Ltd, Guwahati.
The event aimed to inform students and teachers about opportunities available under apprenticeship schemes, the benefits of skill-based learning, and pathways for employment through industry-linked training.
Participants were briefed on how apprenticeship programmes can help them gain practical industry experience while enhancing their employability.
A total of 45 participants, including students and teachers, attended the programme. The session encouraged active interaction, enabling participants to better understand the scope of apprenticeship training and the procedures for enrollment.
The initiative is expected to strengthen awareness about skill development opportunities among youth in the region and encourage greater participation in apprenticeship-based training programmes.
