JNV Tawang student emerges State Topper in NSEB 2025

Tawang, Mar 18: In an inspiring display of academic excellence, Vineet Longliju, a student of PM SHRI School, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Tawang, has emerged as the state topper in the National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB) 2025.

The highly competitive examination, conducted across India and abroad, witnessed participation from over 42,000 students. Among the 302 candidates from Arunachal Pradesh, Vineet secured a place in the top one percent, marking a significant achievement for both himself and his institution.

The NSEB is conducted by the Association of Teachers in Biological Sciences under the aegis of the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, a premier institution dedicated to nurturing scientific talent. The examination was held on November 23, 2025 across 1,705 centres worldwide.

Vineet’s success reflects his dedication and academic brilliance, as well as the strong educational environment at JNV Tawang, which promotes excellence in science and research.

Expressing pride in the achievement, Principal M L Meena said that Vineet’s hard work and commitment set a benchmark for fellow students, adding that the school remains focused on empowering students to reach their full potential.
