PASIGHAT, Mar 21: In an outreach initiative to enhance health services for the rural community, a free health camp was successfully organized at Koyu village in Lower Siang district by Siang Trust, benefiting residents from the village and surrounding areas.
The medical team included diabetic specialist Dr Lincode Moyong, retired Additional Directors Dr Saibal Bhattacharjee and Dr Runi Tasung, and dental surgeon Dr Animesh Bhattacharjee, along with other medical staff.
The camp was led by Siang Trust president Gr Captain (rtd) Mohonto Panging Pao, supported by staff and representatives of the organization.
Local support was extended by Gaon Burahs (GBs), village secretary, and elders from Koyu and neighboring villages, who played an important role in organizing the camp.
A total of 85 patients, including senior citizens, received medical check-ups. The camp also provided free services such as blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar tests, HbA1C testing, ECG examinations, and distribution of medicines. (DIPRO)
