ATA East Siang unit mourns member’s demise

ITANAGAR, Apr 1: The Arunachal Teachers’ Association (ATA), East Siang Unit, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of its member Oshor Perme Ratan, who passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged illness at Bakin Pertin General Hospital.

Born on December 28, 1968, late Ratan joined the Department of Education in 1991 and began her teaching career at Government Primary School, Nongkhi in Changlang district. At the time of her demise, she was serving as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) at PM SHRI Government Secondary School, Kiyit in East Siang district.

Describing her as a dedicated and sincere educator, ATA East Siang Unit secretary Kalen Komut said her passing is an irreparable loss to society and has created a void in the teaching fraternity.

The Association conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Late Ratan is survived by her husband, two sons, one daughter, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter.
