Itanagar, Apr 14: Reflecting his concern for the health and well-being of children and the importance of access to safe drinking water, State Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has presented a high-end water purifier to the hostel of Gyan Mission Orphanage at Lok Bhavan here on Monday.
The Chairperson of Gyan Mission Orphanage, Jullang, Yasi Byaling Nalo, along with the children, received the gift with gratitude.
The Governor commended the organisation for its noble service in nurturing children in need. He appreciated its efforts in providing not just shelter, but also education, guidance, and values that help shape responsible and confident individuals. He noted that such institutions play a vital role in building capable and contributing citizens.
Reaffirming his commitment to child welfare, the Governor assured continued support to the organisation and expressed readiness to assist in every possible way. He emphasised the collective responsibility of society to care for and empower its most vulnerable sections.
