Itanagar, Apr 21: The week-long capacity building training programme on 3D designing, scanning, 3D printing, and CAD file generation concluded successfully at the Directorate Office here on Tuesday.
The programme was organised by the Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science and Technology in collaboration with the Technology Innovation Hub, IIT Guwahati for scientists and technical officials of the Council from April 17 to 21.
The training provided participants with hands-on exposure to key aspects of 3D design, scanning technologies, 3D printing, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD), equipping them with practical skills in emerging technological domains. The programme concluded with a valedictory session during which certificates were distributed to all participants.
Addressing the gathering, Director-cum-Member Secretary of APSCS&T, C D Mungyak, said that despite the short duration, the training aimed to provide meaningful exposure to emerging technologies. He emphasised the importance of continuous practice and further capacity-building initiatives to strengthen the skills acquired. He also highlighted the role of hands-on training in enhancing competencies, enabling participants to serve as resource persons and master trainers in future.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Er Tenzing Sherap, Scientist-D, who expressed gratitude to the resource persons and participants for their cooperation in making the programme a success.
