BORDURIA, Apr 25: Joining the ongoing exercise of Census 2027, Borduria-Bogapani MLA and Advisor to the Minister of Forest & Environment, Wanglin Lowangdong, undertook self-enumeration on Saturday.
The self-enumeration process was carried out in the presence of his wife Chasuam Wangchadong, who is the chairperson of the Nocte Women Association (NWA), Assistant Director of Economics & Statistics Nokgen Wangsu, along with officials from the Information & Public Relations Department and Census staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Lowangdong appealed to the public to actively participate in the census process and extend full cooperation to enumerators and supervisors during household surveys. He emphasized that accurate data collection is essential for effective planning and inclusive development.
He further urged citizens to support officials to ensure the successful conduct of Census 2027.
The initiative highlights the importance of public awareness and community participation in the nationwide exercise. (DIPRO)
