PASIGHAT, Apr 29: North Eastern Council (NEC) Member Tenzing Norbu Thongdok chaired a review meeting on NEC-funded projects in East Siang district at the conference hall of Siang Guest House, Pasighat, on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by Pebika Lego, ADC (HQ), along with heads of departments from various executing agencies and Benjamin Tabing, SRA, District Planning Unit, Pasighat.
Thongdok is on a two-day visit to East Siang district to attend the inaugural programme of the Common Facility Centre (CFC) under the PM-DevINE scheme at Mikong village. During his visit, he is also scheduled to inspect several ongoing and completed NEC-funded projects.
During the meeting, the NEC Member emphasised the importance of timely submission of utilisation certificates (UCs) and project completion reports (PCRs) to ensure smooth and timely release of funds.
He assured continued support in resolving issues related to NEC-funded schemes and urged departments to proactively prepare and submit project proposals aligned with the developmental needs of the region.
