79 units of blood collected at DBC camp

ITANAGAR, May 2: The NSS Cell and Red Ribbon Club of Don Bosco College Itanagar, in collaboration with Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences, organized a voluntary blood donation camp at the college premises on Friday.

A total of 183 volunteers registered for the noble cause, out of which 79 units of blood were successfully collected, including contributions from 63 male and 16 female donors. The medical team overseeing the camp was led by Dr Tashi Paleng, In-charge of the Blood Centre, and Dr Mercy Kino.

The initiative highlighted the spirit of social responsibility among students and aimed at supporting healthcare services by ensuring the availability of safe blood for patients in need.
