Aalo, May 4: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Mindo Loyi undertook his first official visit to Yomcha, an ADC headquarters, on Monday, reviewing developmental issues and ongoing census activities.
During the visit, ADC Yomcha Gyamar Amte informed that the ADC office is currently operating from a temporary rented building, while construction of the Mini Secretariat is in progress and expected to be completed within two years.
The DC reviewed infrastructure challenges in the area, particularly road connectivity. He noted that the stretch from Taba Sora to Yomcha is in a poor condition, while the Wak to Taba Sora road has already been completed.
Interacting with supervisors and enumerators, Loyi stressed the importance of accuracy in the ongoing census process and directed officials to ensure that no household is left out during house-listing. He also urged the public to extend full cooperation for the successful conduct of Census 2027.
The DC inspected the under-construction ADC office and later interacted with residents at Lipu Yomcha, highlighting the significance of census data for planning and development. He further visited Gamkak and Tego Gamlin villages, where he interacted with enumerators, PRI leaders, Gaon Burahs, and local residents. (DIPRO)
