KIMIN, May 4: The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kimin, has imposed traffic regulations on the Kimin-Potin road stretch (Km 20.00 to Km 35.50) in Papum Pare district in view of ongoing upgradation works under Project Arunank.
According to the advisory, vehicular movement will be regulated to ensure public safety and facilitate timely completion of the project, particularly during the limited working season ahead of the monsoon.
As per the schedule, the road will remain closed for construction activities from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Traffic will be allowed during 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM (next day).
Emergency services, including ambulances, as well as magistrates and VIP/VVIP movement, will be exempted from the restrictions.
ADC Ocean Gao has urged commuters to plan their travel accordingly and extend full cooperation to the authorities.
The administration has appealed to the public to adhere to the advisory for smooth execution of the road project.
