KHONSA, May 7: The Assam Rifles organised an outreach programme at Laju in Tirap district to commemorate the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor.
The programme, organised by the Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles, witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 30 students along with their parents, ensuring meaningful interaction with the local community.
The initiative aimed at creating awareness on national security, highlighting the role of the Armed Forces and emphasizing the significance of Operation Sindoor.
The event featured interactive sessions, motivational addresses and distribution of informative materials designed to instil patriotism, discipline and a sense of national pride among the youth.
Officials stated that the programme was conducted in a well-coordinated manner and successfully achieved its objective of strengthening civil-military relations while fostering goodwill among the local populace. The enthusiastic response from students and parents reflected the positive impact of the initiative and reinforced trust in the security forces.
