Arunachal BJP launches dist-level training program at Tawang

Itanagar, May 9: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Arunachal Pradesh unit on Saturday launched its district-level training programme at Tawang under the nationwide Pandit Deendayal Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026.

The state-level initiative, scheduled from May 9 to 31, will cover 12 locations across Arunachal Pradesh, with the inaugural session held at Tawang which was attended by delegates from Tawang, West Kameng, and Bichom districts.

The programme was inaugurated by State BJP President Kaling Moyong, who highlighted the ideological foundation and organisational discipline of the BJP. He said the party stands apart for its cadre-based structure and commitment to nation-building through dedicated karyakartas.

Addressing party workers, Moyong said the training campaign aims to strengthen ideological clarity, leadership qualities, and organisational skills among BJP members. He noted that the programme would cover 11 core subjects along with additional topics focusing on the achievements of the BJP government in Arunachal Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

He also cited examples of grassroots empowerment within the party and congratulated BJP workers in West Bengal and Assam for their recent electoral successes.

Party’s State Vice President and training convenor Ashok Sangchujo elaborated on the structure and objectives of the training programme. The inaugural session was attended by Lumla MLA Tsering Lhamu, who addressed the gathering as the host MLA, and Tojir Kadu, who participated as a resource person.

Among others present were State General Secretaries Junty Singpho and Tadar Niglar, BJYM State President Tame Siyang Tarh, along with several state office bearers and senior party karyakartas serving as resource persons during the training programme.
