ITANAGAR, May 25: The National Commission for Women (NCW), in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), will organise a one-day “Jan Sunvai – Rashtriya Mahila Aayog Aapke Dwaar” in Itanagar on May 29 next. The hearing session will be held at the Deputy Commissioner’s camp office at IG Park here from 11 am onwards.
NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, who will be on a four-day tour of Itanagar and Ziro, Lower Subansiri district from May 27 to 30, will attend the Jan Sunvai along with delegates from the NCW and the APSCW, to hear and redress grievances of women.
APSCW said any aggrieved women may file walk-in complaint or seek counselling during the hearing. The public are encouraged to attend the Jan Sunvai along with relevant documents related to their grievances to facilitate effective and speedy resolution.
