ITANAGAR, May 25: The State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party organised a one-day district-level training programme under the nationwide Pandit Deendayal Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026 for Lower Siang and Leparada districts at Basar on Monday.
The programme witnessed participation from party leaders, workers and public representatives from the two districts.
Addressing the inaugural session, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju called upon party workers to work with dedication and a clear vision for the all-round development of the State.
He stated that under BJP governments at the Centre and in Arunachal Pradesh, the country has witnessed significant development and the implementation of several public welfare initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people.
Rijiju stressed the importance of strengthening grassroots-level activities and urged party workers to ensure timely and effective implementation of developmental programmes and welfare schemes.
State BJP president Kaling Moyong said the training programme was organised to familiarise party workers with the party’s ideology, organisational structure, achievements, challenges and other important aspects related to party functioning and governance.
Deputy Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly, Kardo Nyigyor, BJP vice president and MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom, along with his fellow lawmakers Tojir Kadu and Nyabi Jini Dirchi, also attended the programme.
