DAPORIJO, May 28: Upper Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Tasso Gambo on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction work of the Subansiri Bridge, which is being built under the Trans-Arunachal Highway project to connect West Siang and Leparada districts.
The bridge project was initiated during 2022-23 and is considered significant for improving road connectivity and transportation in the region.
During the inspection, the DC reviewed the ground-level progress of the work and assessed the quality of construction being carried out at the site.
He directed the executing agency to expedite the remaining concrete works while ensuring that quality standards are strictly maintained.
Gambo also emphasized timely completion of the project without compromising construction quality.
Officials from the Highway department and representatives of the construction agency accompanied the DC during the inspection. (DIPRO)
