Itanagar, May 31: The Bharat Scouts & Guides (BSG), Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the State Scout & Guide Fellowship (SGF), organised a humanitarian visit to RK Mission Hospital here under the leadership of Kempi Pakam, State Training Commissioner (Guides), BSG Arunachal Pradesh.
The service team comprised SGF state treasurer Mridula Roy, SGF coordinator cum district trainer and organiser, BSG Capital Complex, Taje Mara, and district trainer and organiser, BSG Papum Pare, Tasar Meera, who also serves as secretary of SGF Papum Pare Guild. They were joined by Rovers, Rangers, Scouts and Guides.
During the visit, the team distributed fruits, biscuits and boiled eggs to indoor patients, including those admitted in the children’s ward and female ward, as a gesture of care, compassion and service.
The initiative reflected the true spirit of scouting and guiding by promoting kindness, empathy and selfless service towards humanity. The volunteers also conveyed their best wishes for the speedy recovery and well-being of the patients.
Appreciating the humanitarian effort, RKMH Secretary Swami Vedaswarananda lauded the voluntary service rendered by the Scouts and Guides. He described the initiative as a meaningful contribution towards humanity, compassion and community service.
