Arunachal delegates continue cultural exchange under Yuva Sangam in UP

LUCKNOW, Jun 4: Delegates from Arunachal Pradesh participating in Yuva Sangam Phase VI continued their educational and cultural immersion in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, engaging in a series of activities aimed at promoting national integration, cultural exchange, and experiential learning.

The day's programme began with a tree plantation drive near Aryabhatt Guest House, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable development.

A major highlight of the visit was an interaction with the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, at Jan Bhawan. During the programme, the Arunachal Pradesh delegation presented vibrant cultural performances, including traditional dances and musical renditions, showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage and reinforcing the spirit of national unity under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative.

The delegates also visited the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, gaining valuable insights into the functioning of the state’s legislative system and exploring the historic Assembly premises.

Later, the participants toured the Regional Science City and attended immersive 3D and SciMax Theatre shows, offering an engaging experience that combined science, technology, innovation, and entertainment.

The visit forms part of the Ministry of Education’s Yuva Sangam programme, an initiative designed to strengthen people-to-people connections, promote cultural understanding, and foster mutual appreciation among youth from different regions of the country.

Officials said the programme continues to provide participants with valuable opportunities to learn about diverse cultures, traditions, governance systems, and developmental initiatives, while contributing to the vision of a more connected and united India.
