ITANAGAR, Jun 6: As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the startup ecosystem and promote grassroots innovation by Startup India, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India, which launched the Transforming Entrepreneurial Journeys Across States and Districts (TEJAS) initiative across 132 districts in the country, a district-level TEJAS workshop will be organized at Multipurpose Cultural Hall, Namsai on June 11 by the District Administration, Namsai (GoAP).
The TEJAS initiative aims to identify, nurture, and support aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, innovators, and students from non-metro and underserved regions by facilitating access to institutional support, mentorship, funding opportunities, and other essential resources required for building and scaling enterprises.
The workshop will bring together aspiring entrepreneurs, startups and innovators, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), artisans, students, and job seekers. All interested individuals are encouraged to register and actively participate in the programme.
Sessions during the workshop will be conducted by Startup India, DPIIT, and Arunachal Pradesh Innovation & Investment Park (APIIP), Department of Planning & Investment (GoAP), in collaboration with Namsai DA, District Industries Centre - Namsai and ecosystem partners, including the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative of DPIIT.
Aligning with the GoI’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat@2047, the initiative focuses on unlocking entrepreneurial potential across regions and fostering balanced and inclusive economic development.
