APCSOA condemns assault on officer Dr Tadang Rai

ITANAGAR, Jun 7: The Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Officers' Association (APCSOA) has strongly condemned the alleged physical assault on Dr Tadang Rai, APCS, in Itanagar on Saturday morning.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the APCSOA said the assault, reportedly carried out by one Agam Mihu, is a matter of serious concern, particularly as it is believed to have arisen from an incident connected to the officer’s official duties. The matter is already under police investigation in Anini, it said.

Describing the broad daylight attack on a serving civil servant as "completely unacceptable," APCSOA expressed deep concern over the incident and emphasized the need to ensure the safety and dignity of government officers while discharging their responsibilities.

The Association extended its full solidarity and support to Dr Tadang Rai and called upon the authorities to conduct a fair, thorough and expeditious investigation into the case.

“Such an assault on a civil servant is completely unacceptable,” the APCSOA stated.
