ITANAGAR, Jun 11: Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Mama Natung and Arunachal East MP Tapir Gao on Thursday highlighted the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, marking the completion of 4,399 days in office.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP State head office here, the two leaders outlined the Centre's accomplishments over the past 12 years, emphasizing progress in governance reforms, infrastructure development, national security, welfare programmes and economic growth.
They stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as a stronger, self-reliant and globally respected nation, driven by a vision of inclusive development and transparent governance.
Natung lauded the Prime Minister's focus on the development of the Northeast, particularly Arunachal Pradesh, citing major investments in road connectivity, healthcare, education, digital infrastructure and border area development.
The minister also highlighted key governance reforms undertaken by the state government under Chief Minister Pema Khandu, including the implementation of e-File and e-Cabinet systems, which he said have enhanced transparency, efficiency and accountability in administration.
He further spoke about initiatives aimed at youth empowerment, talent promotion and sports development, while reiterating the government's commitment to combating drug abuse and trafficking. Natung pointed to the success of Operation Dawn and other anti-drug campaigns carried out by law enforcement agencies across the state.
MP Tapir Gao highlighted several flagship schemes and transformative initiatives of the Central Govt, stating that the past 4,399 days had been marked by decisive leadership and a strong focus on the welfare of the poor, youth, women and farmers.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the vision of Viksit Bharat and called upon citizens to continue supporting the country's developmental journey.
