ITANAGAR, Jun 12: Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Arunachal Pradesh, under the guidance of Anu Singh, State Mission Director, and the team led by Dr Dusu Gambo, State Nodal Officer, ABDM Arunachal Pradesh, conducted an awareness and on-the-spot ABHA ID registration drive during the inaugural function of the NSS Annual Special Camp 2026 and Organ Donation & Drug De-Addiction Awareness Programme held at the Mini Auditorium, Rajiv Gandhi University.
Organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Doctors’ Association (APDA) and Indian Medical Association- State Branch (IMA-AP) under the banner of Doctors’ Day Celebration Committee 2026 in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of RGU, the programme brought together students, NSS volunteers, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and university staff.
The ABDM team sensitised participants on the benefits of digital health initiatives and facilitated on-the-spot ABHA ID registrations to promote digital health adoption.
The programme also featured expert lectures on Organ Donation Awareness and Drug De-Addiction Awareness, emphasising the importance of healthy lifestyles and informed healthcare choices among youth by the resource persons - Dr Dipu Lowang and Dr KM Lombi.
The event was attended by RGU VC Prof S K Nayak, and Registrar Dr N T Rikam, faculty members, healthcare professionals, NSS Programme Officers, and students.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Gambo encouraged participants to create their ABHA Health IDs and take advantage of the digital health services being made available under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
