SBAP holds IDY 26 celebration across the State

ITANAGAR, Jun 23: In an extensive coverage, the Seva Bharati Arunachal Pradesh (SBAP) organized the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) across 23 distinct locations in the State, drawing enthusiastic public response.

The events spanned multiple districts and key towns, reaching remote corners to promote health and wellness. In the capital region, the organization extended its reach through important institutional partnerships. Joint programs were held at Dera Natung Govt College and Abotani Vidya Mandir in Itanagar. The Govt Sec School in Karsingsa also marked the day with dedicated arrangements.

In Pasighat, events were held at the College of Horticulture and Forestry as well as Arunachal Pradesh University.

Namsai district observed the IDY with great fervour across prominent venues, including Saraswati Vidya Niketan in Mahadevpur, Mahabodhi Maitri Mandala in Adinigru, and Zenith Child School.

The western and central zones also witnessed wide implementation, including Gensi and Likabali. West Kameng’s Bomdila region hosted events at the Shongji ground in Nafra, Shergaon, Jerigaon, and Bomdila township, while East Kameng marked the occasion at the Kala Krishti Kendra (Namghar) in Seppa.

Further expanding the reach, Tezu region coordinated gatherings at Hawai, Calsom School, and Hayuliang. In Roing, people assembled at Bizari, Mayu, and Arango, while the Changlang area hosted events at Rangfrah Vidya Niketan, New Changlang, and Old Changlang, alongside functions in Sangram.

Speaking on the occasion, the organizers highlighted that the primary focus is to make yoga a household practice in the region.
